Behind Happy Faces (Mental Health Workshop) @ Student Center, Woods Cove BC

The Behind Happy Faces interactive workshop helps students understand the many ways our mental health can be challenged, and how to identify effective coping strategies for yourself and others. This presentation will expose participants to the knowledge necessary to understand mental health in their own lives as well as how to navigate emotional relationships with others.

Participants will receive a FREE t-shirt!

Mindful Mondays @ Meet Outside Zot n' Go

Join us every Monday for a journey into mindfulness! Each week, we’ll explore different practices such as meditation, mindful movement,and loving-kindness meditation. Science shows that mindfulness can reduce anxiety, improve sleep, enhance your mood, and boost focus.

No prior experience needed —beginners are warmly welcomed! Asa special gift, participants will receive an essential oil roller to carry their mindful practice with them.

We’ll gather in front of Zot N’ Go, then embark as a group to a serene spot for our meditation session.

Wed. Wellness Walk: Mason Park @ Meet Outside Zot n' Go

Discover the beauty of nature with us!  Join our Wednesday Wellness Walks, a bi-weekly adventure to local UCI points of interest.

Explore nearby parks and nature preserves, right in our own backyard. Along the way, we’ll practice mindfulness and learn about our local ecology. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome! Walk at your own pace and leave whenever you need to.

Meet us at 11:30 am in front of Zot N’ Go, dressed comfortably for a nature walk (which may include adequate sun protection and closed-toe shoes).

Join us at our Journal to Wellness workshops, where UCI students can gather to unwind, contemplate, and foster a sense of well-being through the process of writing and journaling. 📓✏️

In our warm and interactive environment, attendees delve into the essential balance of caring for their minds, bodies, and communities. Start a transformative journey towards self-discovery with different journal prompts each week.

Anteaters for Recovery is a new support group program at UCI intended for students who identify as being in recovery.

Whether it’s recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, growing up in an alcoholic family, or any other life-altering situation, you’re not alone. Join us in this safe and confidential space where we share, listen, support, and uplift each other. Our meetings are led by a pro-staff member also in recovery.

Anteaters for Recovery is not therapy or group counseling, but rather a support system where you can heal, grow, and thrive with others.
